The German Canadian Materials Acceleration Centre (GCMAC) Intensive Training & Knowledge Exchange was held 22 – 29 August 2022, in key locations including Vancouver, BC; Hamilton, ON; and Toronto, ON, Canada. This workshop provided participants with site-specific comprehensive instruction, hands-on experience, and adaptive guidance for accelerated materials discovery of energy materials for energy storage and conversion. In addition, it provided students and early career scientists to present their relevant works and the opportunities for networking and collaboration in the field of AI/ML for Materials Acceleration Platforms (MAP). The event aimed at strengthening bi-lateral relations, provided a more fulsome understanding of self-driving lab integration, developed expertise, and trained the next-generation workforce.
During the conference EERA JP ES awarded the best posters of young researchers.
